I know that writing fanfiction isn't something you should ever worry about outgrowing, but after learning you're 41, I honestly feel so much better about just turning 26 and writing Pokémon fanfiction.
Aww~! I’m really happy that I could help you feel better about that. There are people in fandom even older than me as well. Most of us older folk tend to be self-conscious about mentioning our ages, but after I bit the bullet and just blatantly started stating my age, it felt very liberating.
All of my years of experience made me into the person I am today. Every year I’m leveling up to be more than I was the year before, and I’m looking forward to how far I’m going to go.
I hope you enjoy many wonderful years of fandom in the future. I know I will!

I'm a cryptid in Stardew valley. I live on the outskirts of town. I disappear for days on end, purchasing daily one-way tickets to the calico desert. Nobody knows where I go while I'm there. Can occasionally be found fishing at random spots throughout town. I am never not running on at least one triple shot espresso. I take the abandoned minecarts to get around and am frequently seen disappearing into the sewers. I carry a sword for some reason. Once every week or two I will stride into your bedroom to deliver you your favorite meal. I'm a self-made millionaire. I attend all the town events and will go to your concert in the next town over. I have donated approximately 2583 items to the local museum and singlehandedly revitalized the town community center. There are rumors I can talk to junimos. I'm friends with the local wizard

For many of years I had this tradition of drawing Wirt and the beast once a year to see how much I have improved, then depression hit in 2023 and couldn't continue, but it left so really amazing art in the process

Getting looser with lineart and better at colour schemes and simplifying shading. Is good actually.#It's so much easier to eyeball what a colour would look like in a setting instead of colourpicking the OG palette and struggling with...#...like 9 overlay and multiply and soft/hard light layers#Approximating colour genuinely looks better than forcing local colour into the piece. As long as the values are still there it works out#comic
